Walmart is beefing up its supply chain skills by establishing a second consolidation center
in Lebanon, Pennsylvania. The 400,000-square-foot facility, which is expected
to open this month, will utilize automated technologies
to help move merchandise three times quicker, allowing things to be in shops three times faster.
This "unification" facility will employ 1,000 employees and will connect with 42 Walmart
regional distribution facilities located around the United States.
