Hilary Braniff, the restaurant owner, stated that she told the story to "bring some cheer to the industry".
A British restaurant owner posted a photo on social media about a baby named after the "favourite Indian dish Pakora" by her mother.
It caused quite a lot of laughter. A famous Northern Irish restaurant, The Captain's Table, revealed that a customer had named their baby after Indian cuisine.
Hilary Braniff, the owner of the restaurant, said that the post gained traction on social networks and that she created it to "bring some cheer to the industry".
She said she was just trying to brighten people's days, despite rising energy costs and increasing energy bills.
The restaurant shared the photo of the newborn and said that it was a first! ........welcome, Pakora! We are excited to meet you.
