How long NASA did take to launch first spacecraft?

Although the date of the first space shuttle launch occurred on the 20th anniversary

since Yuri Gargarin's first man in space flight, it was not planned.

The first STS-1 launch attempt was canceled due to technical difficulties. It was moved to April 12 by NASA.

Launching any rocket, especially a new one, is not without its challenges.

NASA is currently facing the same problems as it attempts to fly the Space Launch System and Orion spacecraft in a test flight, the Artemis 1 mission.

This time, however, the goal is not limited to low-Earth orbit. Artemis's goal is to make the moon a permanent place.
