The company's founder was against the idea of a theme park.

Walt Disney, the man behind his name company, had a very clear vision of family fun.

All of his early films were G-rated so that everyone could enjoy them without fear.

The man behind Walt Disney (DIS - Get the Walt Disney Company Report) company knew exactly what he wanted and what he loved. 

That vision was extended to Disneyland in 1955. 

The founder of Disney didn't believe certain things could have a place at his theme park.
